ZD4 plate to the right of the headstock. Position 10 code 6 is the ISO year 2006 and is not in the brief’s letter table. The casting locations are on Identify.

New body, new fork, radial front brake and braided lines. The frame is still the MP frame. This site stops at 2006.

Colours and replicas

• No separate 2006 replica is verified on this site. A replica kit does not change the engine.

A replica is a decal scheme. It is not a different engine.

Known weak points

• Immobiliser trouble. Keep both keys.
• Exhaust corrosion.
• The bee-tail engine faults still apply: powervalve, crank, catalyst.
